Accounting Manager Multi Entity (5 yrs full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Description

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager (Multi Entity) to add to their team near Lansing this role you will own day-to-day accounting across multiple standalone entities (no complex consolidations) keeping the books current and organized including month-end close reconciliations general ledger activity and ownership reporting while overseeing a small AR/AP support team. Our client is looking for someone with at least five years of full-cycle accounting experience in a hands-on fast-paced environment preferably involving multiple entities or locations. To be successful in the role you must be self-directed detail-oriented and comfortable working with different stakeholders across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll both execute the accounting work and oversee a small team ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the work while leading others. Accounting Manager Multi Entity (5 yrs full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Responsibilities

Maintain accounting records across multiple entities
Own month-end close and account reconciliations
Record journal entries and manage general ledger activity
Prepare monthly financial reports for leadership
Support year-end close and audit-ready documentation
Track routine accounting sales tax and compliance activities
Manage a 3-person support team handling accounts receivable and payable
Ensure accuracy and consistency across entity-level financials
