School Profile:
SchoolHouse is working in partnership with a Government Department of Youth Justice. The Youth Justice Centre is committed to equity of educational opportunity for all A Chance to Learn. It caters to boys aged 15-21 years who are part of a remand facility. They present diverse backgrounds and experiences with some having some form of mental health disability and/or behavioural disorder. There is a high turnover of students with most staying less than 3 weeks and a portion remaining for over 12 months.

Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education) etc.
- Current NESA Accreditation and WWCC (or eligibility to gain)
- Ability to register with the Department of Education (which can be fast tracked upon offer)
- Dynamic professionals who have the ability to build rapport display resilience and show compassion and empathy towards working with students in unique situations
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Motivation and a passion to work with and support young boys on their journey through secondary education
- Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school
