Full Stack Engineer in AIM crew

At Famly were looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a product mindset to build scalable solutions in a lean agile setup - using agentic AI as a core part of how you work. Youll help both our amazing product reach the next level and the thousands of daycares that use Famly.

And who are Famly Were on a mission to close the collaboration gap in early childhood. So were building the worlds most collaborative Early Childhood Platform - a software platform for the adults in a young childs life to connect share their workload and learn about early childhood. Basically Famly makes life easier for educators and families so that they can get back to what matters.

You will be joining a newly established crew AIM with 7 other amazing engineers 2 designers and a PM. The crew owns multiple large domains within the platform and youll ship everything from minor feature improvements to long-term strategic features - across frontend and backend.

Youre already using AI tools like Copilot Cursor or Claude Code to move faster and build better. Were looking for someone who doesnt just tolerate AI-assisted development but genuinely believes its a better way to work and wants to ship production grade code using it.

The role is based in our Copenhagen office (Købmagergade) with at least 4 days per week in-office.

What youll be doing:

• Build scalable production features across a very large part of Famlys platform to help Famly achieve its mission and goals

• Work across our product on a wide variety of tasks from frontend UI to backend APIs and infrastructure in close collaboration with other engineers designers and PM

• Collaborate with the team on planning designing developing and rolling out new features and improvements

• Use AI tools as a natural part of your development workflow for prototyping code generation debugging and beyond

Right now the team is focused on UK and DACH market expansion with a focus on reporting safeguarding and messaging.

Youll thrive in this role if you:

• Are driving proactive and take ownership from idea to production

• Have a true product mindset and focus on users and customer needs

• Actively use AI in your development workflow and are excited about pushing the boundaries of whats possible with AI-assisted engineering

• Have a solid understanding and experience with functional programming (we use Scala with cats cats-effect fs2 and slick)

• Build across the stack modern single-page apps with TypeScript and React and APIs in GraphQL and REST

• Communicate clearly and kindly learn fast and make your teammates shine (were 45 nationalities and our company language is English).

Youre probably wondering at this stage and Famly are Well it all began when our co-founder Henriks daughter was ready to start at daycare. He couldnt believe the amount of work being done on paper and how distant he felt from his first child during the day. The paper parent books they exchanged once a month just werent cutting it.
