Summary:
The State Head plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion across a designated territory encompassing three states. Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets of INR 45 Crores in the assigned territory both independently and through team performance.
- Build lead and manage a high-performing sales team across three states fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Develop and maintain a scalable dealer network of 100 dealers ensuring consistent engagement performance and expansion.
- Design and implement region-specific sales strategies to enhance penetration in retail and dealer channels.
- Identify opportunities for new product launches and successfully onboard new dealers and distributors.
- Monitor competitor activity pricing strategies and evolving market trends to develop effective countermeasures.
- Oversee dealer relationship management including timely collections and recovery of outstanding receivables.
- Conduct regular dealer satisfaction surveys to assess service quality and drive improvements in dealer engagement.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive regional sales reports and strategic insights to the National Sales Head and senior leadership.
Requirements
- 1215 years of progressive experience in sales and distribution with a minimum 5-7 years dedicated to the decorative paint industry.
- Graduation or post-graduation in Sales Business Management or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing dealer channels and retail sales across multiple geographies.
- In-depth knowledge of paint market dynamics consumer behavior and distribution logistics.
- Fluency in the local state language is highly advantageous for effective stakeholder engagement.
