Job Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Strategy & Planning: Developing and executing a robust IT roadmap aligned with business and production objectives; managing IT budgets and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Production & Post-Production Support: Overseeing the technical setup for shoots editing suites and storage systems; ensuring zero-downtime during critical post-production phases.
Infrastructure & Network Management: Managing high-performance servers complex networks cloud platforms and automated backup systems to ensure maximum uptime.
Data Security & Compliance: Implementing rigorous cybersecurity measures to safeguard content confidentiality; supporting audits and ensuring intellectual property protection.
Media Asset Management (MAM): Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of media assetsfrom storage and retrieval to long-term archival; optimizing workflows for creative teams.
Team & Vendor Management: Leading a high-performance IT team while managing third-party vendors and ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Requirements
The Media Tech Expert: Proven experience in leading IT for a Media Entertainment or Production entity.
Post-Production Fluency: Deep understanding of editing software high-speed storage (NAS/SAN) and media rendering workflows.
Infrastructure Architect: Hands-on experience in managing hybrid-cloud environments and complex on-premise server architectures.
Security Custodian: A proactive approach to cybersecurity and data privacy especially regarding pre-release content.
Strategic Leader: Ability to interface with C-suite executives (CEO/COO/CFO) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
