Accountancy & Business Teacher (IB / IGCSE / CISCE)
1. Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountancy & Business Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across IB IGCSE and CISCE curricula. The role focuses on building strong conceptual understanding analytical thinking and real-world application of business and financial principles.
The ideal candidate should also be open to teaching Economics if required.
2. Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Delivery
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IB DP/MYP Cambridge IGCSE and CISCE (ICSE/ISC) frameworks
- Develop unit plans lesson plans and assessments as per academic standards
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Human Resource Management
- Operations Management
- Financial & Cost Accounting
- Financial Analysis
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design formative and summative assessments aligned with board requirements
- Provide timely constructive feedback to students
- Prepare students for:
- Board Examinations
- Internal Assessments (IA)
- Extended Essays (EE)
- Project-based assessments
Student Engagement & Support
- Facilitate inquiry-based learning through case studies simulations and real-world applications
- Offer individual academic support and mentoring
- Track student progress and maintain accurate academic records
Professional Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings moderation and collaborative planning
- Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Maintain classroom discipline and uphold school values
- Contribute to school events commerce clubs competitions and academic initiatives

- Ability to integrate technology and digital tools into teaching
