- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify acquire and manage a portfolio of key retail accounts distributors and institutional clients (e.g. hotels restaurants corporate canteens).
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor product placement shelf availability promotional execution and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication problem resolution and value-added service.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability effective promotions and accurate order fulfillment.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence competitor activities and customer feedback to inform sales planning and product positioning.
- Prepare detailed sales reports forecasts and performance dashboards for management review.
- Train and support retail staff and distributors on product knowledge sales techniques and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure adherence to company policies compliance standards and ethical sales practices across all client interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
- 25 years of proven experience in B2B sales within the FMCG food or beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of retail distribution networks channel management and sales cycle execution.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Proficient in CRM tools MS Office (Excel PowerPoint) and digital reporting platforms.
- Willingness to travel across Andheri and surrounding areas including outstation visits as required.
- Self-motivated resilient under pressure and committed to continuous performance improvement.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics in Mumbai especially in the Andheri region is highly advantageous.
