KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
End-to-End Marketing Strategy: Owning the full-stack marketing roadmap for IMDb in India from brand positioning to tactical execution.
Customer-Backed Discovery: Questioning established norms to identify unique audience insights that drive engagement among fans and industry insiders.
Cross-Functional Integration: Working closely with Product Content and Tech teams to ensure marketing is baked into the user experience.
Strategic Partnerships: Identifying and driving collaborations with streaming platforms production houses and creators to expand IMDbs footprint.
Individual Contribution: Acting as a "Doer-in-Chief"writing the briefs analyzing the data and executing the campaigns yourself.
Product Influence: Using marketing insights to shape the direction of the IMDb product specifically for the Indian market.

The Industry Insider: Deep passion for the Indian entertainment ecosystem (Bollywood South Cinema Streaming etc.) and an understanding of the IMDb user base.
Analytical & Creative: Ability to switch between data-driven strategy and high-energy creative execution without losing momentum.
Amazonian Mindset: Comfortable with the "Day 1" philosophybeing frugal inventive and relentlessly customer-obsessed.

Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or a related field; MBA preferred. 25 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles with demonstrable success in driving growth. Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing teams and leading end-to-end campaign execution. Strong expertise in digital marketing channels including SEO/SEM social media marketing email marketing and content strategy. Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot Marketo) CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and analytics platforms. Excellent strategic thinking problem-solving and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication presentation and leadership abilities. Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
