About the Role:
As the Retention Marketing Team Lead you will play a pivotal role in retention marketing initiatives. This role involves developing and executing multi-channel strategies managing marketing automation tools and leading a team to ensure the success of campaigns. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of campaigns.
What Youll Do:
Lifecycle Journeys & Campaign Execution:
Build and run lifecycle journeys across Email SMS RCS WhatsApp using MoEngage or LeadSquared
Activate and nurture leads for paid course conversions (core focus)
Drive free event and masterclass registrations and completions
Drive conversion across key stages: Lead MQL Paid Course Application Payment
Ensure seamless journeys across:
Registration MasterClasses / Events
Lead Select Paid Course
Lead capture Demo Classes
Demo Conversion
Post-conversion Referral loops
CRM & Funnel Management:
Manage CRM journeys and funnel visibility
Identify and fix funnel drop-offs across stages
Segmentation Testing & Optimization:
Own segmentation & cohort analysis to improve targeting and outcomes
Design and run structured A/B tests across journeys and campaigns
Bring in calendar intelligence & revenue optimization
reduce spam increase impact grow CRM-attributed revenue
Content & Campaign Communication:
Craft compelling content for cold emails follow-up emails and drip campaign workflows
Team Leadership & Performance Tracking:
Lead mentor and manage a team of retention marketing professionals
Monitor and analyze the performance of email campaigns with a focus on improving open and click-through rates
Report on campaign outcomes offering insights and recommendations for enhancement
Utilize analytical skills to optimize campaigns and identify growth opportunities
Technical Proficiency & Data Management:
Minimum of 4 years of experience with marketing automation tools such as MoEngage WebEngage LeadSquared Engagely etc.
Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel including the use of pivots VLOOKUP SUMIFS and other relevant formulas
Ensure accurate data management and reporting for all campaigns
Additional Duties:
Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management aligned with the broad scope of the position
Who You Are:
Must-Have:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a retention/lifecycle/crm marketing role
Minimum of 4 years of experience with marketing automation tools such as MoEngage WebEngage LeadSquared Engagely etc.
Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel including the use of pivots VLOOKUP SUMIFS and other relevant formulas
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
