Job Summary
- Execute test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality against specified requirements.
- Identify document and track defects using defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in test planning test case design and test execution as part of Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Perform functional regression integration and system testing across web and mobile applications.
- Maintain and update test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
- Support the implementation of automated testing frameworks under guidance from senior team members.
- Contribute to sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
- Assist in preparing release notes and quality assurance sign-off for production deployments.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 25 years of hands-on experience in software testing preferably in a management or technology-driven organization.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and test case design.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail Zephyr).
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools (e.g. Selenium Postman).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with iterative development cycles.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
