Job Summary
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of credit applications including reviewing financial statements cash flow projections and credit histories.
- Evaluate credit risk by analyzing industry trends market conditions and borrower-specific factors.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations for credit committees and senior management.
- Monitor existing credit portfolios to identify early warning signs of default or financial distress.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies regulatory requirements and audit standards.
- Collaborate with sales underwriting and legal teams to facilitate timely and accurate credit decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit risk modeling techniques and financial regulations.
- Utilize financial modeling and data analysis tools to forecast credit performance and support strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field; MBA or CFA/Credit Risk certification is a plus.
- 25 years of experience in credit analysis risk assessment or financial evaluation within a banking financial services or management firm.
- Proficiency in financial modeling ratio analysis and credit scoring methodologies.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables VLOOKUP and financial forecasting models.
- Experience with credit risk management systems or CRM platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with RBI guidelines IFRS standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
