Job Summary

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Developer to play a pivotal role in designing building and optimizing cross-channel marketing campaigns. This individual will be responsible for translating campaign strategies into technically sound automated journeys across Email SMS and Push channels. Working closely with Senior Architects you will ensure seamless execution by leveraging AJOs capabilities within the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ecosystem. Your work will directly impact customer engagement personalization accuracy and campaign performance making you a key contributor to our digital marketing success.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and test end-to-end customer journeys using technical blueprints ensuring correct logic timing and path branching.
  • Develop and maintain responsive message templates for Email SMS and Push with attention to design consistency and technical compliance.
  • Configure and support Direct Mail triggers within AJO ensuring accurate delivery and tracking.
  • Implement dynamic personalization using Expression Editor and Handlebars applying conditional logic based on profile attributes.
  • Validate segment accuracy within AEP ensuring correct profile ingestion and journey entry.
  • Support Offer Decisioning workflows by configuring placements rules and collections for automated content delivery.
  • Conduct thorough QA testing in sandbox environments identifying and resolving issues related to links personalization and logic flow prior to production deployment.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in MarTech with 2 years of hands-on expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
  • Proven experience in deploying multi-channel campaigns (Email SMS Push) with a strong understanding of AJOs integration with AEP Real-time Customer Profile (RTCDP).
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email development and basic knowledge of JSON structures; familiarity with SQL or Query Service is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of XDM schemas and data flow from Web/Mobile SDKs into AJO.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a test-first approach to ensure high-quality error-free campaign launches.
  • Must have experience with AJO RTCDP XDM and AEM as core tools in the Adobe Experience Cloud stack.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Adobe Certified Professional in Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Experience using Postman or similar tools for testing API-triggered messages.
  • Background in managing creative assets via Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets or comparable DAM platforms.
  • Ability to document journey logic technical mappings and implementation details for knowledge sharing and team onboarding.
