Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Scientist / Sr. Associate Scientist to join our Synthetic Chemistry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in synthetic chemistry extensive experience in troubleshooting synthetic processes and a solid understanding of analytical techniques.
The candidate should also be proficient in performing literature searches using platforms like Scifinder and Reaxys and have expertise in characterizing data using NMR IR and Mass Spectrometry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1 Strong theoretical and technical understanding of chemistry
2 To carry out synthetic work and troubleshooting the synthetic problems.
3 Ability to do literature search using Scifinder and Reaxys for the alternative reaction protocols and schemes.
4 Good knowledge in characterizing the analytical data using NMR IR and Mass.
5 Generating the final reports and weekly updates
6 Commitment for timely delivery of the project
7 Procurement and maintaining project chemicals
8 To take care of other common responsibilities in lab.
9 Following safety protocol and adherence to safety measures.
10 Updating LNB on time with zero error
11 Coordinating with team for successful delivery of project.
Requirements
Educational Qualification: . Organic Chemistry
Experience: 5-15 years of experience in synthetic chemistry.
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in performing literature searches using Scifinder and Reaxys.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques (NMR IR and Mass Spectrometry) for compound characterization.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Commitment to safety regulations and lab best practices.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
