Job Summary
TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR Traffic office This varied role will involve actively engaging with our employees and customers to provide administration support to managers/planners responsible for the a busy transport /manufacturingoperationwouldbe beneficialbut notessential;General administrative duties including but not limited to;Data Input and use of computer systemsProduction of appropriate documentationCustomer liaison by phone and EmailBooking in deliveries with customersDespatch of driversDealing with driversheets pay sheetsand queriesReport generation and assorted administrative of documentation/pod/manifestProduction of reportsQuery handlingFilingDaily face to face customer interaction management & warehouse personnelLiaise with company service providers to ensure vehicle maintenance standards are metProvide updates on collections & deliveries to the clientUndertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably requiredPerson SpecGood attention to detailAbility to stay calm under pressureMethodical and thorough approach to work OrganisedGood at juggling tasks and prioritisingGreat team playerAbility to work under own initiativeCompetent in standard PC suites i.e.; office excel outlookPrevious administration experience desirable. Progression training to planning role for right applicant Previousexperience in a haulage / logistic environment desirable
