Intermediate Building Mechanical Technologist
Job Summary
Our client a prominent construction firm with locations in Kitchener and London Ontario is seeking two Residential Buildings Piping Designers who possess over four years of experience in a comparable position. The organization is expanding and requires your expertise.
Your experience you bring will include:
Exposure to HVAC fire protection or broader MEP systems
Ontario Building Code / National Plumbing Code familiarity
Site visit / construction administration experience
Experience in consulting engineering environments
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and coordinate plumbing design drawings for permit and construction under the direction of the Project Engineer or Project Lead.
Lead or assist in developing design briefs verification requirements and project checklists to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
Coordinate with clients consultants and internal teams to maintain design intent and project milestones.
Review and issue shop drawings and support construction services with site reviews and technical clarification.
Attend design and coordination meetings; record and distribute meeting minutes to the MEP Project Lead.
Other related duties as assigned by the Plumbing or MEP Division Leads.
