The Role
As a NodeJS/Java Developer (Web-Based Services) you will design and develop middle-layer and web-based services that enable secure scalable and high-performing enterprise applications. Working across PMO Product Architecture Infrastructure and Engineering teams you will contribute to solution design system integration and the delivery of modern digital platforms within wealth and asset management environments.

What Youll Do

• Design and develop web-based and middle-layer services using NodeJS TypeScript and Core Java

• Build and enhance APIs and web services using REST SOAP and JSON standards

• Draft and review architectural diagrams technical specifications and solution design documents

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business and operational requirements

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines deployment processes and system stability across Linux and Unix environments

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript NodeJS Core Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot

• Experience with integration technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and software engineering principles

• Experience developing APIs/web services and working with relational databases (Oracle DB2 Sybase or similar)

Bonus Points For

• Experience working within wealth and asset management or broader financial services environments

• Familiarity with J2EE technologies Servlets Tomcat and Maven

• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• Exposure to C#/.Net or multi-language enterprise ecosystems

• Understanding of performance optimization and scalable system design
