Resource Budget Analyst, Student Health and Counseling Services

Job Overview

The Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS) Budget & Operations Analyst reporting to the Associate Vice President plays a pivotal role in managing all fiscal and human resource functions within the unit. This position oversees the financial operations for Student Health Counseling and Psychological Services and Health Promotions ensuring fiscal solvency and contributing to strategic resource planning. The Analyst provides comprehensive administrative and budgetary support including handling fiscal receipts contracts departmental employee records and compliance documentation for accreditation and CSU policies. Additionally the incumbent assists with facility project budget management long-range operating budget projections and represents the unit on key projects both internally and externally. This role requires maintaining effective working relationships with campus departments and external agencies overseeing equipment and contract management and conducting high-level budget analysis to support Student Lifes strategic planning and policy development.

This is a full-time exempt position which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Pay Benefits and Work Schedule

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5274 - $5823 per month (Step 1 - 6)

CSU Classification Salary Range: $5274 - $7684 per month

Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.
