What You Will Do:
Operationalize the Enbridge Safety Culture Framework by promoting and seeking out opportunities to strengthen safety culture attributes.
Contribute to the development implementation and sustainment of occupational health and safety programs standards safety cultural assessments and training programs.
Provide support to operational leadership on SIF (Serious Injury and Fatality) prevention throughout the lifecycle of managing work activities. Deliver detailed analysis and assurance of high energy hazards and their control methods.
Provide support to operational leadership by reaffirming safety standards and work execution management through detailed assurance of work activities and participation in corrective action plans.
Support implementation of Occupational Hygiene plans initiatives and monitoring. Additionally provide constructive feedback on program improvements to the Occupational Hygiene group.
Participate in small work teams on problem identification and problem-solving issues to support continuous improvement of operational reliability.
Who You Are:
Bachelors degree in a related field (preferably Occupational Health & Safety) and 4 years of professional directly related experience (ideally within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry). If you do not possess a university degree an additional 3 years of related experience is required (total of 7 years).
A self-starter able to lead multiple tasks and work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively with regional site partners.
Demonstrated ability to be innovative self-managed strategic and initiate and manage change.
Role requires a valid drivers license which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation/ Certified Safety Professional or other Professional Board Certification is an asset.
Working Conditions:
70% /- Office environment requiring extensive work on computers networking with partners research of technical issues and development of plans and reports.
30% /- travel that includes field work and travel expectations for audits reviews inspections assessments meetings training and field safety support. Valid passport is required.
Flexibility to work extended hours when required to manage work priorities accommodate field schedules and address partner needs.
Flexibility to travel for extended periods (approx. 10 days) and work extended hours as required for emergency response support.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Salary:
Ranges from $80500 - $136900/yr USD for US locations based upon candidates experience skills and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
