They are seeking an HR Manager to lead employee relations efforts and support a positive compliant and people-first workplace culture.
This is a highly visible hands-on role where youll work closely with leadership and play a key part in shaping the employee experience.
What Youll Be Doing
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters including complaints investigations and conflict resolution
Partner with leadership to provide guidance on performance management and disciplinary actions
Manage and support leave of absence programs (FMLA ADA accommodations military leave)
Oversee workers compensation and unemployment claims
Ensure compliance with FLSA and employment regulations including assisting with audits
Support benefits administration including ACA (1095-C) compliance and reconciliations
Help roll out and support performance management tools and processes including training initiatives
Lead or assist with employee engagement initiatives such as trainings workshops and Lunch & Learns

Requirements
What Were Looking For
5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations
Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling sensitive employee matters
Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance (FMLA ADA FLSA etc.)
Ability to partner with leadership and influence decision-making
Strong communication skills with a hands-on solutions-oriented approach
Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is a plus
