Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Greensboro NC
Service Setting: Hospital (Float Pool)
Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Coverage Period: August 17 2026 February 2027 (26 weeks)
Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- (5x8 full-time required; flexible non-consecutive days)
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: All ages
Patient Volume/Census: 60 cases per day across department
Case Mix: General ortho GYN ENT vascular thoracic neuro trauma; NORA (IR EP Endo MRI)
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: Drager anesthesia machines; Philips monitoring
Specialty Backup Available: Medical direction model
Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary OR teams
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 6090 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
General anesthesia
Regional anesthesia (preferred)
Airway management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active NC license required (compact accepted)
Board: NBCRNA certification required
Certifications: ACLS and PALS required
Experience: Minimum 12 years; no new graduates
Other Qualifications: Must be flexible to float across locations; no consecutive day scheduling
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide anesthesia services across multiple hospital locations
Perform general anesthesia and related procedures
Work within a medical direction model
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
