As we move into a growth phase were seeking Part-TimeBack of the House & Prep Team Members to join us at our Austin site. As a Back of House/Prep Team Member youll be the backbone of kitchen operations. You will ensure ingredient preparation station setup cooking support and cleanup are executed with precision and speed. Job Responsibilities:
Ingredient preparation
Prepare produce proteins and starches daily
Portion sauces garnishes and toppings according to standardized recipes
Execute service at a cooking station
Assist line cooks with basic cooking tasks and station maintenance
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to uphold quality standards
Station setup & maintenance
Restock supplies and ingredients before and during service
Sanitize work surfaces utensils and equipment between prep shifts
Quality assurance
Inspect incoming deliveries and report any discrepancies
Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines (FIFO temperature logs proper storage)
Cleanup & sanitation
Wash dishes pans and cooking tools using industrial dishwashers or by hand
Sweep mop and take out trash to maintain a spotless kitchen environment
Team collaboration
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff regarding order priorities and timing
Assist wherever needed to keep service flowing smoothly
Job Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Ability to work quickly under pressure and maintain composure during peak hours
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain one immediately
Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
