Job description:
Mid-Senior Accounting Close Lead (Financial Services Contract $70/hr)
Were hiring 1 organized motivated accounting professional to support a fast-growing team by owning and improving the accounting close and related processes.
What youll do
Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close activities (team coordination execution)
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and internal controls
Review key reconciliations rollforwards journal entries and monthly analytics/flux
Ensure timely accurate reporting in line with US GAAP and global policies
Partner cross-functionally to solve problems and improve processes/automation
Manage internal/external audit requests and act as liaison with auditors
Requirements
Must have
5 years accounting experience (Big 4 and/or public company; tech a plus)
Experience leading close activities and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal controls mindset
Advanced Excel (including strong manual calculation/validation skills)
Strong communication stakeholder management
Nice to have
CPA (required/strongly preferred per hiring team)
NetSuite experience (strongly preferred)
BlackLine experience
Tech industry background
