Job Summary
The Dry-Cleaning Associate is responsible for repetitively and manually maneuvering wheeled bins of soiled dry-cleaning product into and out of dry-cleaning machines. Processing of cleaned dry cleaning product towards the next step in the processing.
Essential Duties:
- Participates in all aspects of processing of all completed dry cleaning products through the use of manual labor and computerized software.
- Ability to learn and utilize industry-specific software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Identify areas of deficit or concern within the Dry-Cleaning Department.
- Report areas of deficit or concern to the management in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Flexible with high energy and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to follow and carry out instructions as directed.
- Knowledge of computers or the ability to learn how to use them.
- Ability to maintain a consistent pace and meet production expectations.
- Ability to organize workflow manage time and participate as a team member.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Keen sense of urgency and attention to details.
- Willingness to work in any department within the plant based upon business needs.
- Capable of working in a warehouse environment where temperatures fluctuate and will often be elevated due to the processing of laundry and dry cleaning.
