Location: The Learning Experience Tuckahoe NY
Pay: $20$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
Hiring Timeline: Position needed within 2 weeks
- Lead a toddler classroom in a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate setting
- Plan and implement hands-on learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support language development motor skills and early independence
- Maintain consistent routines including meals toileting transitions and rest time
- Supervise and support assistant teachers
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and daily activities
- Maintain compliance with NYC DOHMH licensing and safety requirements
- One of the following required:
- 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or
- CDA credential or
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education
- 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or
- Experience working with toddlers required
- Previous lead teacher experience preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid preferred
- Must meet NYC childcare licensing requirements
