Business Transformation Consultant Finance
Job Summary
A Business Transformation Consultant Finance is responsible for advising clients on both strategic and tactical financial transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing overall business and financial performance. The consultant partners closely with stakeholders to refine existing strategies or develop new ones that align with evolving competitive regulatory and market conditions.
The role requires deep expertise in financial planning analysis and forecasting as well as the ability to drive end-to-end transformation initiatives that improve profitability efficiency and long-term business sustainability.
The consultant plays a key role in identifying performance gaps designing future-state operating models and implementing financial and business transformation solutions that deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial advisory services to support business transformation initiatives
- Analyze current financial performance and identify gaps inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement financial planning frameworks including:
- Strategic planning
- Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet planning
- Cash flow forecasting
- Capital and investment planning
- HR and workforce planning
- Sales and operational planning (S&OP)
- Production and capacity planning
- Long-range and rolling forecasts
- Strategic planning
- Design and execute financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making
- Align financial strategies with broader business transformation objectives
- Support clients in implementing change management initiatives across finance functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of transformation initiatives
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance governance and operational efficiency
- Support SAP-enabled finance transformation initiatives where applicable
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent finance qualification (essential)
- 810 years of experience in finance financial consulting or business transformation roles
- Strong background in financial planning analysis and forecasting
- Proven experience in business transformation or advisory engagements
- SAP experience (FI/CO or relevant SAP Finance modules preferred)
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Strong understanding of corporate finance budgeting and performance management
- Experience working with large complex organisations
