Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
To provide IT professional service to the group companies and support day-to-day system operations. Responsible for system governance getting users requirements system/design improvement system development and audit compliance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORIZATION LEVEL
Design develop and maintain ABAP objects:
Data Dictionary
Reports (Query ALV Grid ALV List)
Screen Painter or Dialog Programming
Function Modules
Interfaces (RFC ALE/EDI using IDOC)
Data Conversion (LSMW BDC BAPI)
Enhancements (BADI BTE Customer Exit User Exit Substitution and Validation VOFM Routine)
Forms (Smartforms and SAPScripts)
Design and develop new requirements troubleshooting performance tuning and improvement of existing programs from different SAP modules for SAP ECC6 applications
Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP ECC6 and external systems (SAP EDI/B2B Biztalk)
Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Document technical specifications processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and guidelines
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Work closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants and project managers
Proactively recommend and propose improvements to existing processes and systems
Work effectively and independently on assigned projects
Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees as well as environmental protection by adhering to the companys Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs;
Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent with 3-5 years relevant experience
Preferably with a minimum of 1 - 2 full lifecycle implementation experience of SAP as an Analyst/ Consultant
Good experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Model
Have experience with ABAP Performance Tools in SAP
Have prior experience working with EDI / ALE and any middleware and B2B applications
Professional SAP Certification will be advantageous
Prior experience in S4/Hana will be advantageous
Good proficiency in debugging ABAP objects
JOB-RELATED SKILLS
Minimum 3 years of SAP ABAP experience
S4Hana project experience is an advantage
Ability to analyse problems and provide clear recommendations
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization
Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
