Job Summary
Job Title: Planning Engineer Construction
Location: Saudi Arabia
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer to support construction project planning scheduling and progress monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project execution by preparing accurate schedules tracking progress and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Prepare baseline schedules work breakdown structures (WBS) and project timelines
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
- Identify delays risks and critical path activities
- Coordinate with project managers site engineers and contractors
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly progress reports
- Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure proper resource allocation and planning
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Support tender planning and project estimation activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in construction project planning
- Gulf experience is highly preferred
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle
- Ability to analyze project data and generate reports
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
