Distribution Manager
Job Summary
Primary Responsibility :
1. Dealer & Distributor Network Management
Manage and expand network of 100000 dealers and 2000 distributors across India
Ensure active engagement and regular billing from dealers
Identify inactive dealers and drive reactivation plans
Strengthen distributor performance and accountability
2. Dealer Productivity & Revenue Growth
Increase per dealer billing (PDB) and monthly active dealers
Drive repeat orders and improve secondary sales
Monitor dealer-wise performance and create action plans
Implement structured targets for distributors and dealers
3. Scheme Planning & Execution
Design and execute dealer incentive schemes trade offers and promotions
Track ROI of schemes and ensure profitability
Launch seasonal and performance-based schemes
Ensure proper communication and adoption of schemes in the market
4. Dealer Tours & Market Visits Plan and execute dealer tours meets and engagement programs
Conduct regular market visits with distributors and sales team
Build strong relationships with key dealers
Gather market intelligence (competition pricing demand trends)
5. Distribution Expansion
Identify new markets and appoint new distributors/dealers
Ensure strong presence in high-potential territories
Drive rural and semi-urban penetration
6. Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with logistics supply chain and billing teams
Ensure timely order processing and dispatch
Resolve dealer/distributor complaints quickly
7. Data & Performance Tracking
Track KPIs like:
o Active dealers %
o Dealer productivity (billing per dealer)
o Distributor performance
o Scheme effectiveness
Use CRM/ERP tools for reporting and decision-making
Requirements
Strong experience in distribution & channel sales management
Ability to manage large dealer network at scale
Expertise in scheme design & execution
Strong analytical mindset (data-driven decisions)
