*Responsibilities*
- Plan develop and deliver comprehensive age-appropriate lesson plans in Social Studies (History Geography Civics and Economics) for Classes 610.
- Implement active learning strategies including group discussions project-based learning and multimedia tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
- Assess student performance through regular quizzes assignments projects and examinations; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records including attendance grades and progress reports.
- Collaborate with the academic team to align teaching with the schools curriculum board standards (CBSE/ICSE/State Board) and learning outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings staff development sessions and curriculum review workshops.
- Support co-curricular activities such as debates model United Nations social awareness campaigns and field trips related to social studies.
- Communicate regularly with parents through parent-teacher meetings reports and digital platforms to ensure student progress and well-being.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on values education inclusivity and student welfare.
*Requirements*
- Bachelors degree in Social Sciences (History Geography Political Science or equivalent) with a Postgraduate (PG) qualification in the same subject.
- . degree or equivalent teacher training certification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting (preferably in the CBSE/ICSE/State Board system).
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Strong subject knowledge in History Geography Civics and Economics for Classes 610.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
