Job Summary
Job Title: Finance Executive
Location: Chennai
Job Overview
A Finance Executive is responsible for managing financial operations maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organizations financial health. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities financial reporting compliance and assisting in budgeting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and maintain financial records reports and statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of transactions
- Handle GST TDS and other statutory compliance and filings
- Assist in preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to company budgets
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial data
- Coordinate with vendors clients and internal departments for financial matters
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce Finance Accounting or related field ( / preferred)
- 1 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Experience in handling taxation (GST TDS) is preferred
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally ERP systems or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
Required Skills:
Good communication skills are essential. Must possess a Two Wheeler and a valid driving license.
Required Education:
Must be a graduate from any stream.
