Job Summary
Job Title: General Manager Factory (Lighting Manufacturing)
Job Purpose:
To independently lead and run the Ankur Lighting factory as a high-efficiency zero-error on-time delivery unit ensuring strong control over assembly operations vendor coordination quality of finished lights and dispatch timelines.
Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Production Control (Assembly-Based Manufacturing)
- Handle production of decorative lights chandeliers LED fixtures and custom project lights
- Manage multi-SKU production and ensure proper BOM usage
2. Drawing to Production Execution
- Coordinate with design and sales teams
- Ensure correct execution of customizations and approvals
3. Material Planning
- Ensure availability of metal parts glass items LED drivers wiring etc.
- Control fragile material damage and vendor coordination
4. Quality Control
- Ensure wiring safety finishing and 100% testing before dispatch
- Reduce complaints and rework
5. Dispatch & Order Prioritization
- Ensure on-time dispatch with proper packing and labeling
6. Custom Order Management
- Track custom orders and ensure clarity approvals and execution
7. Store & Inventory Accuracy
- Maintain stock accuracy and implement SKU/bin systems
8. Labour Management
- Manage electricians assemblers helpers
- Ensure productivity and reduce idle time
9. Damage & Wastage Control
- Track breakage rework and scrap
10. System & Process Discipline
- Implement planning sheets and ERP usage
11. Inter-Department Coordination
- Work with Sales Designing and Accounts teams
12. Factory Cleanliness
- Maintain organized and safe workspace (5S)
13. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure PF ESIC labour compliance and safety standards

- On-time production and dispatch
- Complaint and rework rate
- Inventory accuracy
- Cost and wastage control
Required Skills:
MBA with good Communication skills
