Solar Sales Representative/Consultant drives revenue by identifying potential customers conducting site assessments and presenting customized rooftop or ground-mount solar solutions. They educate clients on energy cost savings manage proposals and close deals often focusing on residential commercial or industrial sectors while keeping updated on regulations and incentives. Site Assessment: Visiting customer sites to evaluate roof condition shading and energy needs to determine feasibility. Proposals & Presentations: Creating customized solar proposals explaining cost-benefit analyses and presenting to potential clients. Closing Sales: Negotiating contracts and finalizing agreements with homeowners or businesses. Customer Education: Informing clients about solar benefits technology financing options and government incentives. Relationship Management: Maintaining client relationships and ensuring satisfaction through to installation. Betterteam Betterteam 5 Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in direct sales preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar energy systems net metering and energy regulations. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for presentations and negotiation. Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets. Mobility: Often requires a valid drivers license and willingness to perform field work.
