Job Summary
Store Keeper manages all inventory operations within a warehouse or store including receiving inspecting storing and dispatching goods. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records implementing stock control procedures organizing the layout for safety and efficiency and conducting regular audits to reconcile stock with records.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Storage: Unloading incoming supplies inspecting for damage or discrepancies labeling and placing items in proper safe storage areas.
Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate manual and computerized records of inventory levels ensuring "First In First Out" (FIFO) practices and preventing overstock or stockouts.
Documentation & Reporting: Preparing Material Received Reports (MRR) processing purchase requisitions and generating regular inventory balance reports.
Safety & Organization: Keeping the store warehouse or storeroom clean organized and compliant with safety regulations.
Issuing Supplies: Distributing inventory based on approved requests ensuring timely delivery and verifying items upon issue.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in warehousing inventory management or a similar storekeeper role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g. ERP systems) and Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
Organizational Ability: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and moving stock safely.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typical with some roles requiring specialized knowledge.
