Job Summary
dermatologist is a specialized medical doctor responsible for diagnosing treating and preventing diseases of the skin hair nails and mucous membranes. They manage conditions ranging from acne and eczema to skin cancer performing procedures like biopsies excisions and cosmetic treatments (e.g. Botox fillers lasers).

Key Responsibilities
Patient Diagnosis & Care: Evaluate skin conditions and medical histories to diagnose diseases.
Treatment Implementation: Prescribe medication perform biopsies and conduct surgical procedures (e.g. Mohs surgery cryosurgery).
Cosmetic Services: Administer cosmetic procedures to treat issues like scars wrinkles and hair loss.
Preventive Education: Educate patients on skin health sun protection and skin cancer prevention.
Collaboration: Refer patients to other specialists and coordinate care with nurses or physician assistants.

Job Requirements & Skills
Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) with specialized training in Dermatology.
Licensure: Completion of a 3-year residency program and valid state medical license.
Skills: Strong diagnostic skills proficiency with dermatological tools excellent communication and patient management skills.

Work Environment
Dermatologists often work in private practices specialized clinics or hospitals. The job requires long hours of standing and detailed work with potential for evening/weekend shifts to accommodate patients.
