Role and Responsibilities:

• Receive briefing from the Lead Operative prior to the commencement of each contract
  
• Develop a clear understanding of the hazards involved with and safe method to be employed for each contract prior to leaving the yard
  
• Organisation and control of the safe loading and securing of all equipment onto TMIVs in accordance with appropriate regulations prior to transporting to or from site
  
• All procedures are completed in accordance with Company Policy i.e. vehicle defect sheets installation checklist etc
  
• All Operatives must have the correct P.P.E. and any other equipment for the activity to be completed
  
• Effective liaison with clients on-site to promote a positive company image in all circumstances
  
• Install maintain and remove all TM required as per briefing given by Lead Operative/Contracts Department/Clients
  
• Any changes to pre-planned activities are implemented recorded and communicated to the operations department at the earliest opportunity when required
  
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date signed by the relevant people and returned to the contracts department upon completion of the contract
  
• Inexperienced operatives are given suitable supervision and instruction on-site to assist in the development of their skills
  
• All TMIVs (Traffic Management Installation Vehicles) uses are left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each shift
  
• All equipment is returned to the pre-determined location upon return to the yard
  
• All losses and damage of equipment is recorded and communicated to the contracts department at the earliest opportunity
  
• All yard duties are completed as requested by management
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• MUST be drug and alcohol free
  
• MUST have UK driving license (with 2 years experience and no more than 3 points)
  
• Must be 25 or over due to insurance purposes
  
• Must be able to attend a TTMBC course on Thursday 17th October (in Lincoln) if you dont already hold a lantra TTMBC
