JOB Field Service Engineer

LOCATION Hampshire UK wide travel when required

TERM Permanent

SALARY

My client designs and manufactures Special Purpose Machinery for a global client base. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Electrical Engineering and/or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experienced in a manufacturing environment working with machinery
A background in servicing/commissioning would be beneficial
Programming experience would also be beneficial
Excellent communication skills with experience in a customer-facing role
Able to work well under pressure

The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

Travelling to customer sites for commissioning servicing and repair
Working to given processes and procedures
Occasionally training customers on new products and machinery
Providing technical support
Occasional weekend work and overnight stays
