Job Purpose
- The Employment Support Manager will lead and manage employment and skills support services aimed at helping residents access sustain and progress in employment education or training. The postholder will be responsible for strategic delivery team management partnership working and performance outcomes ensuring services align with Southern Housings wider objectives around resident wellbeing financial resilience and social mobility.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Lead manage and develop the Employment Support team to deliver highquality residentfocused employment and skills services.
- Oversee the delivery of programmes that support residents into employment apprenticeships training and sustainable career progression.
- Set clear objectives performance targets and outcomes monitoring performance and ensuring continuous service improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers training providers local authorities thirdsector organisations and funding bodies.
- Ensure services are inclusive and accessible supporting residents with barriers to employment such as longterm unemployment health issues or complex needs.
Essential Experience Required
- Proven experience managing employment support skills or employability services.
- Experience of leading and developing teams including performance management and supervision.
- Strong background in partnership working with external stakeholders such as employers funders or training providers.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Additional information to note
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Fleet House 59-61 Clerkenwell Road London London EC1M 5LA United Kingdom
- Work pattern
- 3 days remote; 2 days in the office. 09:00 - 17:0 Mon-Fri.
- We work on bi-weekly schedule.
