We are hiringSenior House Officer (SHO) Cardiology Research to our Leading Hospitals in South DublinIreland.
Job Type: Fixed Term / Full-Time
Responsibilities
Support the operational management of clinical research projects in line with best practice ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements
Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and study protocols across all research activities
Ensure patient confidentiality dignity and informed consent in compliance with data protection and health research regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date research documentation including site files case report forms and source data
Assist in the preparation and submission of ethical and regulatory documentation including query resolution
Contribute to study feasibility assessments including patient recruitment potential and resource availability
Coordinate clinical research activities including patient screening recruitment study visits follow-ups and data collection
Manage study-related communication and liaise effectively with sponsors investigators and the wider research team
Participate in investigator meetings study training and support training of research staff where required
Contribute to quality assurance governance compliance and continuous improvement of research processes while supporting team collaboration and project delivery
Requirements
Honours degree in a healthcare-related discipline (e.g. Nursing Medicine Physiotherapy Laboratory Science)
Registered with a relevant regulatory body such as the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland Irish Medical Council or CORU
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Cardiology or a related specialty
At least 1 years experience in clinical research is desirable but not essential
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent attention to detail
Proven clinical competencies; phlebotomy experience is desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate stakeholders
Strong team player with the ability to work independently and use own initiative
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Flexible adaptable and open to change
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
Willingness to develop additional skills relevant to the role
