We are currently hiring a Healthcare Assistants for a leading care provider based in Galway offering an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality person-centred care.
Salary: 32691 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Start Date: 15 June 2026
Number of Positions: 15
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support to clients in their own homes.
- Assist clients in a manner that maintains dignity privacy and independence.
- Support clients with mobility hygiene and basic healthcare needs.
- Follow care plans and report any changes in client condition to the Field Care Supervisor.
- Assist the Field Care Supervisor with assigned tasks and care coordination.
- Build positive respectful relationships with clients and their families.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or care services setting.
- Ability to deliver person-centred care with empathy and respect.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Basic understanding of health safety and care standards.
- Flexible and reliable with a strong commitment to client wellbeing.
