We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manger 1 - Oncology Inpatient Unit into a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Job Title: CNM1 Clinical Coordinator
Department: Oncology Inpatient Unit
Location: On-site Dublin Ireland

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily patient care operations ensuring safe and effective service delivery within the unit.
- Assess staffing needs allocate patient assignments and delegate tasks based on staff competencies and clinical priorities.
- Provide direct patient care as required including oncology nursing IV cannulation venepuncture and administration of chemotherapy in line with established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans particularly chemotherapy and connect them with appropriate support services.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies national guidelines and safety standards including the safe handling of cytotoxic medications.
- Act as a liaison with the Nurse Manager reporting incidents managing risks and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Supervise and support nursing staff HCAs and other team members to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Promote quality improvement by participating in audits accreditation processes and the implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Contribute to staff development through training mentorship and participation in education and induction programmes.
- Maintain professional standards in line with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland guidelines demonstrating effective communication teamwork and continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Valid registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland as a General Nurse in good standing
- Recognised post-registration qualification in Oncology Nursing
- Proven competency in venepuncture cannulation and administration of cytotoxic drugs
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience including at least 2 years in an oncology setting
- Strong leadership teaching critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
