Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care settings.

We are currently partnering with a client who has been awarded a new HSE project and is seeking to recruit a Social Worker.

  • Responsibilities


  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of social work services within a rehabilitation setting
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients mental health social and financial needs
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination
  • Support discharge planning to ensure appropriate community and family support
  • Attend case conferences and team meetings as required
  • Refer patients and families to relevant community resources (financial housing mental health services)
  • Provide crisis intervention and support including end-of-life care
  • Advocate for patients rights and ensure their needs are met within the healthcare system


  • Requirements

  • CORU Registration (essential)
  • Experience in social work; clinical experience in elderly care is preferred but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full clean drivers licence own transport and access to a smartphone
  • Passionate about delivering patient-centred care within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment

    Required Skills:
