Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy services to adults and older adults including physical sensory and cognitive assessments and interventionsConduct and implement appropriate assessments including seating hoists & slings and activities of daily living (ADLs)Support individuals in achieving independence following physical social emotional and mental health challengesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Nurses Social Workers Speech & Language Therapists and PhysiotherapistsLiaise effectively with patients families and relevant external agenciesEngage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including participation in training and staff development daysParticipate in regular service review meetings with clients to support continuous improvement
Requirements
- A broad range of under-graduate clinical experience with Elderly care being desirable but not essential
- Strong written and verbal skills
