WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Voice of Customer & Product Strategy
- Act as the primary voice of the customer gathering insights from clinicians and sales teams.
- Translate market needs into product enhancements and new development opportunities.
- Maintain and evolve product roadmaps aligned with market demand and business objectives.
Portfolio Management & Execution
- Manage day-to-day performance of assigned product lines ensuring alignment with customer needs and profitability targets.
- Oversee product updates and lifecycle changes with minimal disruption to customers.
- Support competitive positioning and value proposition development.
Commercial Support & Market Access
- Assist in preparing and reviewing complex bid submissions and tenders.
- Ensure product positioning aligns with pricing strategy and competitive dynamics.
- Support sales enablement through clear messaging and product knowledge.
Analytics & Business Planning
- Build demand models and forecasts to support inventory planning and supply chain alignment.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Use data to guide decisions and prioritize initiatives.
Requirements
WHAT DOES THE IDEAL CANDIDATE OFFER
Education & Training
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (Science Engineering Business).
Work Experience & Accomplishments
- 35 years of experience in medical device product management or marketing.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support product launches and lifecycle management.
- Exposure to hospital procurement processes and tender submissions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial and commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing and margins.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and business systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
