Job Summary

Under general supervision this position provides general technical and operational support and knowledge for functions related to the banks consumer loan processing and servicing operations functions and home equity servicing operations. This role will ensure loan servicing activities are performed accurately and in compliance with internal policies and procedures within the Consumer Loan Operations team. This position will require working in the Operation Center Office in Appleton WI as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and review consumer loan closing packages to ensure compliance with regulatory andbanklending policy.

  • Complete loan maintenance items within various systems including but not limited to file maintenance lien releasesloan payoff quotessatisfactionssubordinations andfee adjustments.

  • Accurately enternew loan data into thebanks core processing system foraccuratecollateraltracking repaymentmethodand reporting.

  • Meet quality and productivity standards andperformin a fast-paced loan production environment.

  • Responsible foraccuratedisbursementsof loan proceeds including payoffs general ledger entries and checkdisbursements.

  • Accountable for responding to verbal and writteninquiriesfrominternal and externalclientsin accordance withdepartment procedures.

  • Process payoffs loanpaymentsand returned loan payments.

  • Reviews various scheduled reports as assigned for exceptions errors auditing and to perform maintenance transactions.

  • This role will require working directly with thebanks internal and external clients to accurately manage all requests in a confidential andtimelymanner according to service level agreements and standard operating procedures.

  • This role also requires strong partnershipsand communicationbetween thePersonal Banking Teamto ensure we are delivering the best experience for our clients withtheonboardingofnew consumer loans.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Required:

  • High School/equivalent oran associate degree preferred

  • Oneyear banking operations experience required with customer service experience preferred

  • One year customer service experiencewith banking operations experience preferred

  • Strong communication(written and verbal) interpersonal and customer-service skills

Preferred:

  • Demonstrate excellent problem resolution skills

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Bankoperations platform experience preferred

  • Ability to work accurately both independently and as part of a team with interruptions to meet deadlines

Additional Information

  • This position requires you to be able to work on-site in Appleton WI in a hybrid working structure with some remote flexibility.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $19.80 - $26.79 per hour which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to location relevant experience skills and knowledge business needs market demand and other factors Thrivent deems important.
