Senior Data Engineer Principal Lead on site

The Role
Were seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and own our data platform and infrastructure. You will design systems that power transaction processing analytics reporting and real-time insights across our global financial product.
You will work on high-integrity financial data systems where correctness auditability and consistency are critical.
Our backend is a Python (FastAPI) monolith supported by Lambda Kinesis Postgres Redis on AWS. You will work closely with backend systems to ensure data is correctly captured transformed and exposed. You will design and build the systems that capture process and serve data across the platform working closely with backend services and event streams.
Parts of this are greenfield where you will define architecture data models and pipeline design from first principles.
Must Have Requirements
- 5-10 years building and shipping data pipelines and platforms
- Experience with data modeling ETL/ELT or event-driven systems
- Experience generally across the backend: working with Postgres Redis AWS etc.
