Data Architect

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and lead the development of modern data ecosystems that support AI-driven solutions and client-facing applications. This role will be responsible for building scalable data architectures across cloud platforms enabling advanced analytics and supporting machine learning and AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS and Azure strong expertise in data modeling and pipeline design and a proven ability to integrate data across platforms including BI tools and CRM systems such as DealCloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud-based data architectures across AWS and Azure
  
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models (conceptual logical and physical)
  
• Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support analytics reporting and AI/ML use cases
  
• Architect solutions that integrate data from multiple sources including CRM systems (DealCloud) and third-party platforms
  
• Partner with analytics teams to enable reporting through Tableau and Power BI
  
• Define and enforce data governance quality and security standards
  
• Design data frameworks to support AI/ML workloads including feature engineering and model-ready datasets
  
• Collaborate with application architects and engineers to ensure seamless data integration within applications
  
• Optimize performance of data warehouses data lakes and real-time data processing systems
  
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the data ecosystem
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in data architecture data engineering or related roles
  
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
  
• Expertise in data modeling data warehousing and data lake architecture
  
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline design
  
• Experience supporting BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  
• Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
  
• Experience integrating data from CRM platforms (DealCloud or similar)
  
• Understanding of data governance data quality and security best practices
