Position Summary
SCS is seeking a Vice President (VP) to join the Dallas TX office. As a part of a client relationship team dedicated to serving the financial and investment needs of clients the VP will work with the team to ensure that SCS clients continue to receive a world class experience.
We are seeking candidates who are well organized energetic and team-oriented. The right candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who has excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This person must be willing to provide the highest level of client service professionalism and confidentiality. Furthermore this person must be able to efficiently prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively manage and oversee the clients investment and financial plans
- Prepare client meeting presentations and oversee any manual reporting coordination
- Effectively analyze develop solutions and communicate sophisticated wealth management topics in a concise understandable manner
- Participate in client meetings and assist with client inquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Serve as first point of contact for some clients
- Think creatively and strategically about client needs
- Capitalize on experience to drive process and efficiency improvements
- Support new business development activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree; CFP or CFA designation highly preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in an investment wealth management estate planning or tax/accounting environment
- Fluency in planning and/or investment topics
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook applications
- Excellent organizational prioritization and time management skills
- Analytical with a strong attention to detail; Problem solve effectively
- High energy and highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to travel for client meetings
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $120000 - $130000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience subject matter expertise geographic location where work will be performed and the applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a meaningful annual cash opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package.
