Job Overview

The Operations Team Member is responsible for performing pet cremations in a safe respectful and efficient manner. This role works as part of a small team to ensure each pet is handled with care and dignity throughout the cremation process.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment (retort) to carry out pet cremations
• Follow proper procedures to ensure each cremation is handled correctly and respectfully
• Monitor equipment during operation and make adjustments as needed
• Check equipment regularly and report any issues or maintenance needs
• Maintain daily cremation goals while ensuring quality and accuracy
• Clean and maintain cremation equipment and work areas
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and mopping
• Follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself and others
• Assist with other related duties as needed

Education Training & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a service industry
• Valid Driver License may be required

Working Conditions

• Regularly bending stooping crouching kneeling sitting repetitive motion hand/wrist/finger motion
• Regular lifting/moving 100 lbs
• Regularly be exposed to elevated noise levels.
• Regularly be exposed to elevated heat levels.
• Regular handling of deceased pets.
