Job Summary

The Legal Coordinator provides complex administrative support to the organizations global in-houselegal team focused primarily on contracts corporate governance compliance intellectual property andbrand protection.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Supports the administration of all internal systems used by the Legal teamincluding the contract management system (Ironclad) brand protectionmonitoring trademark monitoring and electronic document storage.
  • Assists Legal team members with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Reviews routine agreements on company templates.
  • Manages and organizes corporate records and files and maintains corporate organizational charts.
  • Facilitates full entity lifecycle management including initial registration and annual renewals.
  • Works cross-functionally to obtain signatures on contracts entity management documents patents and other important paperwork includingdocument legalization.
  • Conducts legal and business research as requested.
  • Creates and prepares reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Supports the development and improvement of standardized forms processes and procedures in collaboration with the Legal team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) of experience in a business environment utilizing the required administrative skills.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting an in-house legal team desired.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform theessential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Experience working with a footwear/apparel company preferred.
  • Experience with contract management systems preferred.
  • Commissioned notary or willingness to become a commissioned notary.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines handle multiple tasks concurrently and be adaptable to new assignments systems and tools.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
  • Process oriented capable of understanding defining and following processes with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build rapport with department team members and co-workers across the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced quickly changing environment.

Travel Required: No

Base Salary:$29.52 - $30.46 per hour

This range represents the low and high ends of this positions anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience knowledge skills and location.
