Our Northeast Division is a well-respected and award-winning group where career development training and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil environmental water resources and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and rewarding work are seeking a dynamic EnvironmentalBuilding SciencesFieldTechnicianto join our Woburn MA office.
Your Responsibilities as an EnvironmentalBuilding SciencesFieldTechnician:
- Conduct hazardousmaterialssurveys including asbestos lead-based paint moldother hazardous materials and indoor air quality.
- Provide oversight of contaminated site remediation and hazardous building materials abatement.
- Prepare field notesphotographs and perform analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data.
- Prepare technical reportsfor hazardous materialsforsite assessments.
- Support emergency response services communicate and collaborate with others manage workloads and records implement health & safety policies and travel.
What Were Looking For
- BA/BS in Environmental Science or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- 2 years of experience in the Industrial Hygiene / Hazardous Building Materials industry.
- Asbestos Lead and/or 40hr HAZWOPER certification required
- Proficient in MS Office and other commonly used computer programs preferred.
- Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred.
- Strong communication interpersonal and technical writing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong safety mindset and record of safe work practices.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Willingness to conduct asbestos lead and mold surveys remediation monitoring exposure monitoring and specialized industrial hygiene projects.
- Ability to work in fastpaced environments various weather conditions climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% regionally and work nights or weekends as needed.
- Valid drivers license good driving history and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to wear a respirator safety harness and required PPE.
